AI-ASSISTED · SAFEGUARDING-FIRST

Helping young people discover their strengths early.

Pathvio is an AI-assisted platform for students aged 11–19. It was created by an educator who has seen too many young people lose confidence because their talent was never recognised.

Founder story

Pathvio started in a classroom, not a boardroom.

Pathvio was created by a teacher with a Master’s in Education who has taught in India and lived in the UK.

Seeing talent go unnoticed

In the classroom, I saw artistic and creative students pushed into subjects that never suited them. Moving to the UK, I saw the same pattern in a different system: incredible resources, but not always joined up, and young people who still felt lost.

Why Pathvio exists

Pathvio combines what I know from teaching and youth work with what modern AI can do when it is used carefully and ethically. The goal is simple: help young people see their strengths early, and give schools, colleges, parents and employers one safe place to support them.

How Pathvio works

One AI platform. Four simple steps.

Pathvio keeps things simple for students and staff while a responsible AI layer quietly connects insights across students, institutions and employers.

1. Profiles

Students complete short, age-appropriate reflections on interests, strengths and experiences.

2. AI signals

AI highlights emerging strengths and possible pathways without labelling or predicting students.

3. Staff insights

Schools and colleges see live insights to support guidance, interventions and careers activity.

4. Employer challenges

Employers offer safe, supervised challenges and sessions through institutions.

Safeguarding & responsible AI

Safety is not an add-on. It’s the starting point.

Pathvio is designed for young people. That means strict age-based controls, transparent data use, and institution-owned oversight at every stage.

⚠ No direct, unsupervised student–employer contact.

Age-based safeguards

  • 11–15: no employer contact
  • 16–17: supervised, group-only
  • 18–19: visibility under college oversight

Responsible AI

  • No behavioural surveillance
  • No psychological profiling
  • Focus on strengths and interests

Data & control

  • GDPR-aligned data handling
  • Institution-admin controls
  • Transparent information for parents
